MIS Group Closes
The team at Blytheco, LLC was saddened to learn that Sage business partner MIS Group has ceased business operations. Through many years of friendly competition, we have made many friends at MIS Group and we are disappointed to see the end of this highly respected company. Our thoughts go out to the MIS employees and clients who are affected by the business closure.

Blytheco is accepting resumes from former MIS Group team members and will be expanding our consulting staff in Dallas and Houston. Additionally, we would be happy to meet with former MIS clients to determine how we can assist them in completing any current open projects or assist them with your future needs. Read More »

Sage Payroll Paycards: The Electronic Payroll Solution

Many employers are using paycards to offer employees an alternative to paper paychecks and direct deposit. Paycards, also known as payroll cards, are plastic, stored-value cards that work like debit cards. Over $6 billion was placed on payroll cards in 2005. The use of payroll cards is expected to grow to $17 billion by 2009.

The Sage Payroll PayCard works the same way as a direct deposit transaction, and requires no additional systems, software or hardware. Your company can incorporate the Sage Payroll PayCard program into your existing process regardless of the payroll software or service you currently use. Companies simply enroll in the paycard service. If your company offers direct deposit, you can also offer the Sage Payroll PayCard. It’s that easy! With the Sage Payroll PayCard, you can offer your employees 24/7 access to funds, safety and security, on-time pay no matter what (e.g., employees on vacation or sick leave, remote employees, etc.), elimination of time-consuming trips to the bank, and more. Sage SalesLogix Scheduled retirement
On the scheduled retirement dates all maintenance will cease for these versions of Sage SalesLogix and technical support will be available on a limited basis only. Between now and the retirement dates, software updates for Sage SalesLogix v6.2 and v7.0 will only be provided for critical data loss and security issues. After retirement, all Hot Fixes and Service Packs will cease for Sage SalesLogix v6.2 and v7.0, and Feature Requests will no longer be accepted. Customers with current support plans on Sage SalesLogix v6.2 and v7.0 will continue to receive support until their contract expires, however, upon retirement only limited support will be available.
