30th Anniversary Client appreciation Event Recap

Many Blytheco clients, friends, and partners joined us Thursday, June 17 for a very special event: our 30th Anniversary Client Appreciation Webinar. This event was our chance to let you know a bit about our history, a lot about current news at the company, and, most of all, to thank our clients for their support over thirty years.

Blytheco CEO and founder Stephen Blythe reviewed the humble beginnings of Blytheco - no doubt the younger members of the audience were baffled by his references to "Apple II," "floppy disk drives," and "Basic 4"! Check out his blog post detailing this trip down Technology Memory Lane.

Apryl Hanson, Director of Customer and Partner Strategy, then reviewed the results from Blytheco's recent client surveys, and how the company intends to respond to survey findings. Apryl also dropped some hints about a major new initiative from Blytheco intended to change the way we and others do business. Coming July 1, this plan includes giving back to our clients and making a difference in our communities at the same time.

Get Local with Proximity Search!

Proximity Search adds value to your SalesLogix system by allowing your organization to use geographic information to assist in business decisions that were not possible before.

Proximity Search is an add-on for SalesLogix v6.2/7.x that allows users to find contacts and accounts within a specific distance of any geographic location in the United States — be it the user’s home, office, or any zip code. Searches are very fast—most executing in less than a second—and can be run on any SalesLogix Windows or Remote client without the need for an Internet connection. 

The uses for Proximity Search are unlimited. Example scenarios include:

  • A field rep is planning his day and wishes to generate a route of clients that optimizes his territory coverage
  • A national sales rep wants to generate a list of nearby prospects to visit on a business trip to Philadelphia
  • The Marketing group wants to send promotional material for an upcoming product launch to customers in the Phoenix, Denver, and Seattle markets
  • A field sales rep has extra time during the day and wishes to visit one or two contacts nearest his current location
  • A customer service rep wishes to dispatch a vendor closest to the customer

Their primary purpose is to help you take advantage of all of the Sage and Blytheco resources available to you and be a central contact point for you when you do not know who to call. They can also assist you in escalating any issue regarding sales or professional services, whether with Blytheco or Sage.
