Our current product is a single-tier application. MPX offers an N-tier architecture: User Interface (Presentation) - Business logic - Data. This enables our customers to leverage the product. This new architecture will support product extensions and growth for the next generation of our customers.

Third-party tools can be integrated through documented APIs (application programming interfaces). Industry standard interfaces and data standards like XML will enable our customers and their partners to utilize their information in custom applications.

MPX uses industry standards such as SQL databases with ODBC connectivity, and Apache or IIS web servers. The code is written to meet todays standards and uses XML for data interfaces. MPX support for industry standards enables our customers to develop custom solutions.

MPX architecture lets our users easily scale to meet increased volumes and server loads with minimal and managed increases in costs. This enables our customers to manage to a budget while delivering needed system performance.

All features, interfaces, and architecture components are fully documented. This enables customers to use interface methods more easily, to increase the ability to maintain the system, to create opportunities for code reuse and leverage, and to reduce long-term costs.
MPX Modules:
MPX People The core system, captures, organizes, manages, and analyzes valuable donor information. It may be used to segment and target donors, determine motivation, and assess program results, helping organizations of all sizes to establish and maintain effective constituencies. The software includes over 100 stock reports, as well as virtually unlimited ad hoc reporting capabilities, to maximize the effectiveness of the organization's donor management. MPX People enables you to ask the right person for the right size gift at the right time for the right project.
MPX Media Media is used to manage all media activities, from defining media outlets to setting up contracts and payments for media-based programs. With this module, your organization can track and analyze results, attribute gifts and sales to the appropriate placement levels, and handle the day-to-day management of media outlet relationships.

MPX Inventory Inventory manages the sale and fulfillment of gift items, books, cassettes, and subscription services for organizations who utilize products. Key capabilities include detailed transaction, history and activity information by product, as well as feature-rich backorder processing, keyword search and subscription processing.

MPX Tasks Tasks is a fully integrated contact management and major donor tracking system. The Tasks module includes assigning tasks and reminders as well as tracking major donors through Moves Management.

Data Import Utility, is a transaction import engine for MPX. This part of MPX is designed to streamline the business of seamlessly streaming donor, giving, sales and inventory information into the MPX database. It is designed to support communications with external sources such as Web sites, OCR Devices, faxes, scanners and third party call centers.
MPX Data Import Utility will accept data in a variety of formats:
- Text Based: Ascii Delimited (CSV) and XML
- SQL via Replication
