Blytheco, LLC. Teams up for Cancer Relay 2006

Laguna Hills, CA. July 11, 2006 – As an eighth year team participant for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event, Blytheco, LLC. has raised over $52,000 since their involvement with the charity. Blytheco, LLC. has supported the employees and their families to achieve this accomplishment through various events and projects throughout the year. In addition to the pledges collected, one of Blytheco, LLC.’s employees has made a quilt to raffle off for the past six years. “This is our biggest fundraiser and we all anxiously await the unveiling of each year’s quilt”, remarks Team Captains Cathy Simonson and Sally Brown. “The creativity of each of the quilts is remarkable but even more so are the results that can be achieved when there are so many involved with this worthwhile cause.”

President Stephen P. Blythe is an avid supporter of the Relay for Life Event. “I believe it’s important for every company here in Orange County to give back to the community”, he states. “Collectively, we all can make a difference and touch those people in need while enhancing our community and making it a better place. Aside from the money that is raised for this vital cause, the camaraderie and sense of teamwork that is attained by our employees brings out a better character in all of us”. Demonstrating another way Blythe supports the American Cancer Society is his donation for an Opportunity Drawing/Silent Auction plane ride trip in his private plane to either destination of Big Bear or Catalina Island.
